I was quickly inspired watching Mission Impossible Rogue Nation. Rebecca Ferguson was wearing a Burberry trench coat which I fell in love with. ...A week later I had this similar jacket in hand. Two special things I love about this jacket: 1. The colour - Isn't this blue just very special for a trench? 2. The cut in the back. The pleats! 3. I feel like Rebecca Ferguson, the spy, wearing this to work (hehe) Paired with my favourite Swarovski accessory. Photography by Ryan Chua

Part 2 of my collaboration with the beautifulLia Larrea. Her designs are truly beautiful - the shape of her pieces are fitting and complimenting for women. Her edgy style is so cool and versatile. By versatile, she's not kidding! I mean, this poncho is reversible AND can be a skirt (more on that on my next post). I loved working with her and am looking forward to her upcoming collections! Check out her online shop here! Check out our other look here. You can see her super cute & modern tunic! ****************************************** Lia Larrea's Convertible Skirt / Poncho Lia Larrea's TARA clutch Hat: Lia Larrea's Equadorian Handmade Hat Others: Lipstick: Tatcha's Kyoto Red lipstick Jeans: 7 For All Mankind Lashes: M.A.C. ****************************************** リアとのコラボ第二弾⭐️ Photography by Ryan Chua Follow Lia Larrea @ instagram / twitter Part 1 of my collaboration with the beautiful Lia Larrea. Lia is a SF based designer. You can read more about her here. Her designs are modern, edgy, cool, sophisticated and most of all, versatile.. This is very new to me! When I first saw her designs, I was *amazed*. Most of all, her pieces are so beautifully crafted. Her ARIA tunic can be worn as a tunic or a dress. This time, I wore it as a dress. You can also hold her TARA clutch as a shoulder bag as seen above. I loved working with her and am looking forward to more collaborations with her! Check out her online shop here! This beautiful Red Pleated Folk Print Dress is fitting, comfortable and gorgeous!
You can dress it up or down depending on the situation. The pleats are very unique for a long dress like this - certainly makes it stand out. I paired it with Tatcha's Kyoto Red lipstick and Aritzia's mini bag for simplistic additions. I wanted the dress to be the main focus :) For more photos I took at the J-POP Summit, check out my post here! Photography by Ryan Chua
Sometimes it's just fun to wear something you don't normally wear - No?
I'm definitely not the type of girl who shows her legs often....Actually, I never show my legs! But hey, sometimes we just got to be confident and try it out, right? Matched this dress with nude TOPSHOP shoes as an attempt to lengthen my Japanese legs. To have a little more fun with the plain dress, I added the fun necklace from Madewell as well. Nude makeup to neutralize the look. Photography by Ryan Chua
All black is so easy to coordinate, but all white is a hard one.
Sometimes it could look too cheesy, but if you pull it off, you can make an all white look super sophisticated and edgy. This top I got from ZARA is my favourite. The angles of the top is unique, furthermore it's feminine & cool. I paired it with black accessories - Aritizia bag (from AUX), black bra top from GAP, black sandals. Of course, Tatcha's Kyoto Red is my still go-to lipstick for most of my looks. The lipstick just brightens up any outfit! Walking around in Japantown (SF) is always fun - I always go to "Nijiya" the grocery store. But this day, Ryan (Photographer) took me to Yamadaya for Ramen. *DELICIOUS*!! Uniqlo has brought Japanese Yukatas over to San Francisco
and I can't be happier! I saw them at the store (in Union Sq.) and dashed over! Couldn't resist! Check out all of their different designs here. Yukatas are a summer version of kimonos. They are light and suited for warm weather. You can wear them for formal and casual occasions, but mostly to Matsuris (festivals)! It's very cute to see couples wearing Yukatas in Japan. It's still very common! I hear that this year's Yukata trend in Tokyo will be the "retro" look. Yukatas can be hard to wear but you can follow these quick guides here. I paired this Yukata look with Tatcha's Kyoto Red lipstick which I am still in love with!
I *finally* found the perfect wrap around pants.
Loose, comfortable but kind of futuristic because of the interesting fold in the front. Paired it with a piece from Zara and gold accessories for an office-friendly look.
