First post by my very first jpinsider correspondent: My little sister, Fuyuka!
She visited Houkokuji and Jomyoji temples in Kamakura.

Kamakura station is a 30-40 minute train ride from Yokohama. It's hard to believe all of these pictures were taken right by a large city!

She saw over 2000 bamboo trees. She felt rejuvenated after observing the great nature and feeling the peace and quiet. I wish I could be there to relax as well!

Reminder:
This is a tourist spot - I want to emphasize the importance in respecting others and the atmosphere while visiting. By this, I mean that it is very important for all of those who are visiting to keep quiet and respect the peace which is created. Don't take too many photographs. Put those selfie sticks away. Remember to soak it all in. ;)
